Congratulations to Larry Hightower, one of the first Cell Stress Society International’s Senior Fellow award recipients!

The Cell Stress Society International has initiated two new service awards for CSSI members: a Fellow, and a Senior Fellow. These awards recognize society members who have contributed important discoveries to the field over the course of their careers and who have also made outstanding contributions to the society and to our journal Cell Stress & Chaperones. We are proud to announce that Larry Hightower is one of the first recipients of the Senior Fellow award, which was given at the society’s recent international congress in Huangshan City, China. The attached photo shows some of the other recipients of the Senior Fellow Award. L to R: Antonio De Maio (USA), Larry Hightower (USA), Lingjia Qian (China), Robert M. Other recipients not present were Stuart Calderwood (USA), Kaz Nagata (Japan) and Claudina Pousada (Portugal).  The awardees are approved to use the letters FCSSI in their signature block.
